Monday Menu on Tuesday, naturally.
I'm back! Some what. My apologies again for the long and unexplained silence. As I navigate the world of being a new blogger and the holiday season I am thankful to those of you who still stop by and wait patiently for me to figure this thing out.
A big thank you to my friend Jeff for commenting! As I get this blog going the more feedback the better. It helps to know what you think of me so far and what else, if anything, you would like to hear from me.
Alright here is our menu for the week. We have basically been on the go since Thanksgiving and as much as I love trying new restaurants and visiting new cities, I've really missed my kitchen and the creative outlet of cooking.
This week is all about cold weather food. I found three soup/stew recipes that are quick and easy to make. Try one or all and let me know how they turn out.
Sunday: Whole Foods! One of our favorite things to do when we are out running errands and want a quick and healthy meal is to stop by Whole Foods. We can both get something we want and I can always find a vegan chocolate chip cookie!
Monday: Thai Chicken Soup
Tuesday: Moroccan Carrot and Chickpea Stew
Wednesday: Harvest Frittata
Thursday: Slater's 50/50 We are meeting up with friends to check out this place. I usually don't plan to eat out for burgers unless it is In-N-Out so I will let you guys know how it goes.
Friday: Lemon Orzo with Green Beans (I'm going to substitute green beans for asparagus because that is what is in season right now.
Saturday: Spicy Black Bean Soup
