Where we went- Sushi date night

When my husband and I were dating one of our favorite things to do was sushi date night on Friday. There was a place close to where we lived that had a great happy hour and a patio. Since moving back to the west coast we have been on the hunt for a new Friday date night sushi place and I think we found it last week.



Just a few miles from our house is a little place called White Wasabi Sushi + Beer. We loved so many things about it right away. It was small without feeling crowded, they had a small rotating local beer list which my husband loved and the staff was friendly and attentive. We ordered our go to, pork gyoza and a few different rolls. We liked everything we ordered and there were so many things we wanted to try that we will definitely be going back soon.

Another big, but slightly unrelated plus, is that it is in the same shopping center as Whole Foods. Since I can not eat dairy we go to Whole Foods more often than I'd like to admit to get cookies and other Vegan baked goods. After dinner we walked over to get cookies and a few other goodies for the weekend.
