Where we went: burgers and beers

For my husband's birthday week we kicked things off with dinner and beer tasting at Bottle Logic.

One of our favorite food trucks in Orange County is call The Cut. If you are in the area and have never checked them out you are missing some seriously amazing burgers and fries. I usually get "The Classy." How can you go wrong with goat cheese and honey balsamic reduction? My husband loves "The Savory" but mostly loves the bacon relish. The fries, seriously you guys, they are cooked and salted perfectly and they come with their house made sauce. This is not a calorie conservative meal but it is totally worth it.

Now for the beer tasting!

Bottle Logic is a small brewery in Anaheim California that opened less than a year ago. The tasting room is open to the brewery and there are plenty of places to sit around and have a drink at a table, the bar or on the patio out front. They people were friendly and helpful even though it was pretty busy for trivia night (every Monday at 7pm). We tried six of the beers they had on tap by creating our own flight. We like a little bit of everything when it comes to beer. Blake's favorites were  Double Actuator (double IPA), Recursion 4.0 (oatmeal IPA) and Lagerithm (dark American lager). We will definitely be going back soon.
