The Drive - Day 4 and 5 (NO driving necessary)

On day 4 and 5 of our adventure west we stayed in Colorado. My brother, sister-in-law and two nephews live in Durango, a quiet little town full of hippies, cyclist, and outdoor enthusiasts. We played, biked, explored and eat many delicious meals. It was a much needed rest. The kind of rest you get when you are with people who know you and love you and enjoy just being there with you.

 

We jogged with the boys on their bikes,Uncle Blake doubled as a jungle gym after nap time, and my brother grilled some amazing dinner to go along with my sister-in-law's homemade chimichurri.

Silverton is a short drive up the mountain from Durango and it's one of the cutest little mountain towns full of quirky shops, old-timey restaurants and even a little brewery.

 

For dinner we dropped of the kids and went out for some delicious dinner in town. We had good intentions but only got photos of the appetizer.
